Barry Grant Mighty Demon Carb 650 - Like NEW with box, +more!

Selling a Mighty Demon 650 Carburetor that was run for just 20 minutes on a new motor and project was put on hold. Could use a polish job because it has been sitting for some months but is as good as NEW. Again, it was taken out of the box brand new and run for 20 minutes! This carb is PERFECT...

Need the stock specs of a 302, please.

NikwoaC, thanks a bunch for those specs...much appreciated. Yeah, I'm not sure what they mean by the min rpm...I guess maybe they mean idle rpm. I am getting this info because I am having a new carb built and they want these specific specs :)

Need the stock specs of a 302, please.

Ok, guys...yeah I need the above specs for a 1992 bone stock 302 motor (from an LX 5.0 hatch). I was pretty sure this particular sub-forum was intended for Fox body 5.0 302. Sorry for not being more specific but...that's what I need...I tried googling but wasn't really able to find this info...

What do i need to do to go from efi to carb?

The timing in the distributor from the EFI setup is controlled by the computer. When you go to carb you no longer will be using the computer. So...you can either just lock the timing higher with the stock dist like the others have suggested, or use the 85 distributor. I went a different route...

What do i need to do to go from efi to carb?

I have run a Mallory 4307 return style fuel pressure regulator with the stock EFI pump on my carb'd car with absolutely no problems at all. I have no problem dialing the fuel pressure to anywhere between 5-8 psi with the turn of a screw. To use the EFI pump you MUST use a return-style regulator...

    best blower for my setup??

I'm running a 9psi Powerdyne with my carbureted setup. I'm very happy with the increase in performance. I'm using a 255LPH EFI pump and Mallory 4307 return style regulator. I do think there is a way to use a mechanical pump with boost. The mechanical pump must be boost referenced, meaning that...

    powerdyne install?

Mine was VERY easy to install as well. Wish I would have seen those Ford Racing instructions before I started installing mine. Not sure how installing a Powerdyne could be harder than the other brands. Same type of brackets, pullies, hoses, fmu, etc are used ...and to top it all off there is...

    blower cam selection

There are 100's of guys at turbomustangs running f-cams. It is really the goto cam over there for forced induction motors. Do a search for f303 and you will find lots of info over there. The owner of the site is running over 1000HP with an f cam...

    blower cam selection

Have you looked into the F303 cam. There are lots of guys running it with great results. Cam has blower friendly specs/attributes and it's cheap. :) By the way your power goals seem right in line.

ASP overdrive crank pulley for supercharger

I have a 9psi Powerdyne and a 7" ASP crank pulley myself, I am in the process of installing it as we speak so I can't really give my results but I have spoken to a few guys running the same combo. I would suggest getting it tuned with the larger crank pulley so you can be done with it. The 7"...

Vortech or Powerdyne?? Supercharger guru's come on in, honest advice wanted..

I actually think they look nice and clean. No lines, real simple. Mine is going into a Factory Five 65 Cobra Roadster, I am looking for the cleanest looking install possible. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :) (Let me know if the 2 pics below do not show up, please folks.)

Vortech or Powerdyne?? Supercharger guru's come on in, honest advice wanted..

Thanks for the followup Lems. Much appreciated. I have the latest BD11A, I hope mine isn't a "lemon"...LOL. Anyway, thank you again. ufctv, I think the price on their website is Retail price. You will normally be able to find better prices from vendors. This usually applies to most all...

Vortech or Powerdyne?? Supercharger guru's come on in, honest advice wanted..

Lems, you are the first owner to give me a negative feedback. All the other owner's that I have corresponded with have had nothing but positive experiences. Most of them with thousands of miles on their BD's. Sorry you had a bad experience. Could you give any more info? ...How long ago was...

Vortech or Powerdyne?? Supercharger guru's come on in, honest advice wanted..

All depends on your budget. I recently did a lot of research on the Powerdyne BD blowers prior to purchasing my own BD11a. I have been in contact with at least 20 other actual owners on this and other forums. Not one of them had a single complaint. Most have had them for several years with zero...

    Will a T5 from a 99-01 V6 Mustang fit a 90 302 engine?

Thanks Speed Freak, Do you think this will work? As an update, I went ahead and ordered the T5 we have been talking about. So I will be finding out first hand if it is in fact a direct bolt-on with the new input shaft (which it already has installed). This will not being going in a Mustang...
