    Thanks for the reply. But I am not too worried about gaining HP. I am more worried about allowing the air to escape so it does not rip my hood off my car. Anybody else have this problem while driving at high speeds?

    Thanks Guys, yes it is an off-road H-pipe. So in order to get rid of that sound, I need to put the cats back on. Is that right?

    Just replaced the H-Pipe and put a Magnaflow Exhaust on and it still sounds like it is back firing or at least makes a sound like that when I get on it. Anybody know why I am getting that sound? Thanks.

    Check and make sure the battery terminals have a good connection. I had the exact same problem and when I changed to better terminals, the problem was fixed. Good Luck

    I am use to driving a Jeep Wrangler so I am use to getting tossed around but my 96 Cobra seems like it is really ruff when driving. It has 80000miles on it. When did ya'll replace your shocks? Thanks Dave

    Nope, the parts were new. The guy who sold it to me said one side is supposed to be lower than the other. :bs: Oh We'll, I am going to get a Bassani X-pipe with the cats.

    Newbie! 1st time post. Just purchased a 96 Cobra with 78000 miles. Just put on a Flowmaster chamber 2 exhaust, K & N FIPK Kit, and a Hedmann H pipe. It is really loud and 1 side of the H pipe sits way lower than the other side. Is this how all the pipes are? I am thinking about puting the Cats...
