will tf valve covers fit gt40 iron heads?

i got some gt40 iron heads in last week and i'm wondering it there is anyway i can test the valves seals to see if they need a valve job or not?

Just got a set of gt40 iron heads, and have a stupid question. Are the RR for them stud or pedestal mount. And if stud what size do I need to buy, ie 3/8 or 7/16 mount? looking to get 1.7 for them and dont have a clue what to look for. thx

got my bbk equal length headers completely in and they look like a jem and sound equally nice :D :D :D

if i were to get a 73mm c&l maf (just the metal piece) would i be able to plug my stock sensor into it or would i need to buy a maf with the sensor already on it and calibrated. (keeping in mind all the internals, heads, manifold and injectors are stock)

So my buddy and I just got done putting bbk equal length headers on my car today.... freak 8 hours. Took us forever and a day to get the passenger side one on cuz I wouldn’t line up with the bolt holes. And then when we were all done we couldn't get the hpipe collector to line up with the studs...

Well i finally installed my e-fan and pullys (crank & pump) this weekend and i now think i'm going go upgrade the alternator. I called the local pep boys and they want 200 bucks for a new 130 amp alternator, does that sound like a good price? Are there any sites online that have better deals?
