    My 96 got 29 on the highway, when first got it and it had 2.73 gears, no mods, then I did mods and put 3.55s in and got 26, now even more mods and 4.10s and I get 21-22, so I dont bitch, actually I am quite happy with those numbers

    Car sputtering and popping after wash

    Mine does it to, found the problem to be water in spark plug tubes, remove the plug wire off the plugs and blow the tubes out then blow the wire ends off, should take care of your problem, also add alittle dielectric grease to plug boots to help seal them from any more water intrusion :nice:

    Problem

    I have no mph no more, I checked all the connections, they look good, I jacked the car up and put into gear and it will go to 15 mph then drop off like a sack of bricks, anyone run into this problem. I think it is the speed sensor itsself :shrug:
