    insurance

actually, I moved from a City area to the country and my rates went up. has to do with Traffic Lights vs. Stop signs on rural roads. aparently there are more accidents on rural roads where there are no stop signs on the long stretch and lots of crossing streets.

    Oh the falling leaves....springs

after MU moved across the country, they kinda fell off it seems. I did order a fiberglass hood from them and that's it for a long while. I think Gene is correct about inventory. I've been seeing a lot of brick and mortar shops doing this exact same thing now just to save some inventory space...

    351w stroker w/ edelbrock 400Hp kit

when you're talking 400 HP, it's a lot of power. as mentioned by keyblr go with a custom cam and do some research, call a cam place like crane or lunati or whatever. they do this every day. or talk to an engine builder and tell him what you want, and he will suggest what you need.

    351w stroker w/ edelbrock 400Hp kit

there is no difference in machining costs. my 392 is great. I didn't want to go too big on the cubes to keep the heat down. My friend with a 427 said if it's a street car don't go as big as his, and my engine builder agreed. Especially after I had to sleeve one piston. just sorta Fell into...

I have spent the last 12 years helping the classic Mustang community and...

I emailed my friends who facebook, I don't unfortunatly. this is the only reason I would have for it though. I can't wait to see an end to your JAG IRS tech article, unless I missed it. I realllly want to do that to my mustang especially for people to wonder how I stop without seeing any...

    2001 mustang 16 inch wheels on 1966?

they will NOT fit without spacers. our wheels vs. those have offset difference. spaces are cheap.

Sweet, perfect reason! Let us know what they have to do to get it to fit and if you like it : ).

    351w into 65 coupe

That's a testimonial I'de listen to. it can be a tight squeeze, every one of our stangs has gone through a whole lot since ~'65. mine was a tight fit, and a little massaging was required. I could prolly get at my spark plugs but with the headers i selected it's a tiiiiny bit difficult, take me...

    351W Build

very nice build, I've got essentially the same thing ( 392w ) with RPM Air Gap intake. perfect compression ratio for the street. have you already got the C6 under there?

    1966 Mustang Coupe 200ci

I have that same gas pedal!!! and I also Love penguins. great looking car and nice painting.

Wtf is wrong with this combo?

I think you're biggest problem is just low compression. you're running on 87, make it so you can only run on premium A super charger will fix that ; )

Does it make sense to use HIPO headers?

how much did you pay for the hipo manifolds? (as they aren't headers)

    Ideas on 289 rebuild

he already has the 2.5", i agree that he doesn't need it especially if using the cast iron manifolds and stock heads, the flows and the 351 manifolds tho. : ) some people actually do like flows better, plus you have no idea what flow he's going to use. i have Delta 50's on my 392 and i love...

AFR heads, which stamped steel rockers?

i hear mine through my hood.. albeit fiberglass and cowl induction.. i love that sound tho. course my mom sewed my entire childhood / still so maybe it's a comfort sound for me :0. i agree that your exhaust just isn't loud enough also.

    Ideas on 289 rebuild

I would also skip the iron exhaust manifolds, especially the 289 hipo ones, it doesn't sound like they fit in your budget. just get a simple set of shorty headers from headman or whatever.and 2.25 - 2.5 exhaust. i would say with your budget freshen the block, look for some used aluminum heads...

OT- MIG Welder Do you have one? I need advice

there really needs to be a sticky about this kind of information, it gets asked infrequently but is an important question that a lot of people ask.

Does it make sense to use HIPO headers?

maybe it's because of my header's ceramic coating, or that i'm a youngin' but i don't have Ac, and i don't think the new engine is hotter than the old one with the cast iron manifolds, i think it's less hot.. but that could be a million things, but i do make sure to drive it on the hottest days...
