    I think that last car was built by a guy named Steve Dembinski of Hot Rods by Steve. I saw his website - www.hotrodsbysteve.com - and emailed him about the mods. He was a very friendly guy and sent me back a bunch of pics of the car. Check out the website to see what the rendering idea was.

    I've no actual experience with these but, according to the description in the ebay auction, they are actually selling the Percy's Adjust-a-jet. So if they are a take-off of the Redline/Weber version I would think it would be a quality deal.

    Dash pads vs. dash pad covers?

    You get what you pay for. Had my dash repaired with a cover and it looked decent for about a year before it started to buckle and warp. I eventually had the cover removed and the whole dash re-upholstered to match my interior. Covers are not the way to go, IMO.
