    73mm caliper upgrade

I was waiting for this, I just picked up a set of 91 Lincoln LSC calipers, and they did not work. why? because the threaded part of the caliper where the banjo bolt goes is to far down for my brake hoses to connect to. I'm going to try another set of calipers and see if they are different...

Is the Explorer block and Mustang block the same?

ALL 1986 and up 302 Ford motors are roller cammed, like Swiller said. The explorer may or may not have a distributor, but I'm sure they have a removeable cover over the hole in the block for the distributor if it doesnt have one.

    Torque Box Damage, how bad?

U guys must really tear on your cars. MY buddie's tear the 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me' out of their mustangs, and their torque boxes look like new. Then again these are mostly stock cars, that might be why.

smart to build a high compression hyper 306?

It all depends on what kind of pump gas is readily available near your house. 93 is the normal here, 91 is normal in other states I know. People who live in the city by me, and have a pump with race gas will always build high as hell compression engines because the fuel is readily available. I...

Battery in Trunk.. Does it have to be sealed??

I personally would put the battery in a box with a cover or something on it to keep anything away from the battery incase someone were to fall into it, or drop something on it and short out your battery or electricute themselves, or fry your car's wiring.

    Which Spark Plugs are best??

Platinum, and platinum + garbage and all that crap are a joke. The best plugs are the cheepo motorcraft or other similar normal correct heat range spark plugs. Platinum is for vheicles that you dont want to change the plugs in for 100,000 miles, that's why manufactures use them, and even then...

    What injectors might these be?

MY car has a computer and wiring harness off of an 89 mustang, I own an 86. I have the '86 5.0 motor with E6 heads and what looks to be the upper only intake off of the 89 which the computer and wiring came from. I'm not so much worried about my intake or even my motor, but I also have a set of...

    RESTORE engine additive

I don't believe in oil additives, excepting one. Lucas oil stabilizer. In my personal use and my buddies use we've noticed reduced oil consumption, reduced oil leaking, and it solved my ticking lifter when my truck was cold. I use it in every oil change on my tractors as well, that stuff just...

    Brake upgrades....Help!

I will be re-doing my brakes very soon, and upgrading sounds like a good idea, because the stock brakes on our cars are terrible. I'm not converting to 5 lug, 4 is fine for me. I'm not spending enormus amounts of money either. These calipers off the Lincoln mark 7 bolt on directly, do we use...

I bought a set of weld-in style for $47.00 off ebay including shipping and all. It's probably not worth the time to measure and get stuff wrong. They had bolt-in style too for that cheep.
