    A '71-'73 does not weigh that much more than a '69-'10 or a v-8 Mustang II. Also the MII's were rather front heavy. The MII is strong enough.

    My car is in the shop now getting a new 1/4. Thsi si a '70 Getting a Dynacorn full 1/4 panel. The 1/4 panel is nice, but has no side marker light opening. We can add one to it, or remove it from the other side. Let me hear your opinions!

    True. You saw what I did with the factory rails. They are long gone! Consideting how teh stock stuff held up, I think bracing should be on the to do list regardless of what kit is used.

    A properly done MII kit will have adequate reinforcements. On mine we built new frame rails. My car is stiffer than anything using factory rails, except maybe something with a cage. It drove from Seattle to Anchorage and is still straight...
