    Stick shift cars can peel out easy enough, I like to get going a little then floor the throttle and kick the clutch. The engine may only have 88 horsepower but the wheels can't argue with a flywheel spinning 6,000 RPM. :D

    It's not that a 4 cylinder puts out less sound waves, but an 8 cylinder engine cancels out more of them because there are more pops happening. That is why rice sounds so bad, because you can hear the individual pops.

    Nope. Have broken the short cable at the bellhousing a few times, though, and that is why you should learn how to shift without using the clutch. A tow ain't cheap.

    GET the following for good measure: Autolite spark plug wires. Bosch oxygen sensor. NAPA/Motorcraft distributor cap and rotor. You could try replacing the intake temp and coolant temp sensors, as they are important in calculating fuel delivery and do wear out, but they will cost you around...

    Well the 5.0 will fix the low end torque problem lol. I agree, check your cam timing. Pull plug in upper timing cover (if it has one) and the mark on the cam sprocket should align with the pointer when the crank pulley reads 0. (If the cam pointer has 3 prongs, point it at the middle)
