I am going with the edelbrock performer rpm package and these flowmaster hushpower 2 mufflers. Headers wise I have thought about JBA shorties so far but really dont know what would go with that package. I am looking to get a little more torque from the headers i choose too. Suggestions...

What can I add on to that package to get more of the "seat of the pants thrill"? Other then a SC? What type of headers will give more torque?

So far what I have is the edelbrock performer rpm package which includes heads, cam, intake manifold and there 600 cfm carb. This will be a daily driver but with some sweet power hopefully. I am wondering what else will match up with this setup as in pistons headers, ignition, timing, fuel...

All stock here other then the parts/etc. im missing at this point. runs great with 68k on it, pretty good for being almost 40 years old. Good poll question, i would also be interested in what the common ages are with either stock or resto-mod.

How much $$ am i looking at for a 351w? My car is running and will be a daily driver here in about a month. Would i be better off finding a decent shortblock 351 and go from there or saving a nice amount of cash and getting a drop in ready to go engine with the amount of power im looking for...
