What is the proper way to remove the inner tie rod ends? Everything I read says to hold the shaft on the drivers side with a wrench. It is round with teeth on the bottom side how can you hold this with a wrench without it slipping or damaging the cylinder shaft?

i am using a spring compresser, but when i set the spring in place the clamp is touching the k-member and a-arm. i need to compress more but then the clamp will be longer than the spring.:bang:
