I sold my 96 GT for a 2004 GSXR 600. I had the bike for over a year and it was fun as hell! I got the itch to get back into a Mustang though so I sold it and bought my 90 LX. I am still thinking about getting another bike next spring. They are fun just to cruise around with.

My 90 LX gets around 23-24 MPG. The only mods now are mufflers and intake.

Can you elaborate on what type of scuff pads?

I just got my motor pulled apart. Any ideas or tip on how I can, or should, clean my pistons and get some of the carbon buildup off of there? Thanks guys!

So really no major reasons to bring a 302 to a 306 unless it has to be bored out because of bad sidewalls.

Beside the obvious cube size difference, is there any big difference in peformance gains if the same parts are used?

I dont know what year they started, but I believe 93 they went with Hyper pistons.

I got my 90 LX with 104k on it, with no rust, almost perfect interior, and minimal mods for 4k, I personally wouldnt pay more than 3500 for that one.

I got the AGX adjustable shocks in my car and love them!

You have to take off the panels inside the trunk to get to the nuts. I think there are 5 or 6 on each side. Then all you have to do is twist the light bulbs out. Fairly simple.
