    Mach 1 why does the 04 mach 1 rev so high?

    The automatic Mach 1s rev to 5800 and the manuals rev to 6800. DOHC motors rev higher than SOHC motors. I am not sure of what the 1999 and 2001 Cobras rev to, but it should be similar.

    I would also try Villa Ford in Orange off the 55 and Lincoln. They had two Orange and one Red when I bought mine.

    Thanks for all your help. I am going to have the gears put in next weekend. I was quoted $250 if I supplied the parts. I will see what happens. :D

    With those mods you will easily smoke a lot of LS1's :owned: out there. I highly recommend getting the Mach. Not only quick but $hi+ loads of fun. :nice:

    Looking at getting some 4.10 gears for my 04 Mach. Talked to about 5 different local shops and got 5 different answers. The last guy I talked to(only one who mentioned this) said that the car would surge(speed) and that the speedometer would be way off. Is this true? Another demanded I...

    Mach 1 2004 Mustang Mach 1

    I just picked my 2004 Mach on Friday. All I can say is, "this car is friggin awesome". Glad to join in with the late model mustang crowd. :nice:
