I have a plastic air dam on the front of my 99 GT and while i was changing the oil i noticed a small crack on the bottom. Is there a good way to fix this crack and prevent it from spreading, or will i have to buy a new one or just live with the crack? Thanks for any suggestions.

i own a stock-ish (K&N, cold air) 99 GT with a 5 speed and am trying to work on the best shift points and launch RPM for the quarter mile, but am only just guessing at what is best. What should i launch and shift at to get the best 1/4 mile times? (on street 245/45/17s) thanks
