Speaking of Magnapacks.. If I replaced the muffler and the flow tube (the tube leading from the h-pipe to the mufflers) with magnaflow ones, can I use it with my magnapack tailpipes? Would they line up? If so, anyone want to trade? I think I'd rather have Magnaflows now..

Keep in mind that the Mach's advertised HP is low.. They are underrated similiar to the Cobras.. I dyno'd at 289 RWHP, thats flywheel HP in the 340's..

Agreed... I was thinking of going for a Cobra from my 03 Mach.. But really what is the point? Daily street driving the Mach is just as fast as the Cobra. Do I do highway races often? Never.. Is the Cobra's 150 more a month justify the .3 to .5 sec difference I'd get in a quartermile...

I know this has been discussed many times, but the Mach isn't a pre 03 Cobra motor.. The cams and heads are different on the Mach..

That is a decent price for an 03.. The value of them has actually gone up on KBB and a lot of lots do not have new Machs (least in my area) anymore. The ones that are left are selling at sticker minus rebates. The days of getting a good deal on a Mach are pretty much over as supply is getting...

A lot of Cobra motors have been failing with over 500 RWHP. If money was no issue, I would go with the Saleen 281 E or get the S351. Better looking, rarer car. Cobra is better bang for the buck.

So the overall volume doesn't increase? Good, because right now it's pretty damn loud especially when cruising 70-80 on the highway.
