    wow! $100 for a new charcoal canister at 50resto. i guess ill be getting a used one I also confirmed one of my own answers, sort of. still not sure where the other end leads to but this is "86-93 EGR VACUUM SOLENOID, 5.0L"

    Cant i use the tweecer to disable it in the computer instead of doing this resistor ****? my TAB and TAD were never hooked up to anything in the exhaust before, and i wasnt getting codes. but they were plugged in.. one had a screw in the end of the tube... the other im not sure what it was...

    I no longer have cats, or a smog pump.. going to keep the EGR. i have a twEECer so i can disable whatever is needed in the computer. if i just leave the 2 harnesses unplugged and hanging, and cap off the vacuum lines that are needed will everything be fine? also, my car had the vapor...

    I reallllly dont want to take it to a muffler shop and have them wack and mangle the prochamber more especially if its just the wrong part number. i just checked macperformance.com, and they show their 79-93 prochambers with hangers so F me, thats not the problem

    mac had no prochambers in house to measure to tell me anything, i was hoping somebody here had one to measure? the hangers are suppose to go on a bracket that mounts to the transmission, although ive never seen the bracket and down own one. I need to pick one of those up somewhere

    yes they are. they go around the steering shaft. and they are the bigger of the primary tubes. they are suppose to be the 1 3/4" with the 3" collector. and the prochamber is suppose to be the matching 5 speed one

    forgot to mention that I cut off the tube for the smog pump hookup, welded it shut, and painted it so it wont rust. you can see it in the cellphone picture above this post.

    oh, and i have twisted wedge heads, which have the same exhaust port height as stock heads so its not an issue with cylinder heads causing the problem. i measured from one end to the other of the header side pipes. was 16 3/4" ?

    WHY THE HELL DOESNT THIS FIT? I already modified my prochamber so i cant send it back, i ordered this stuff ages ago and never had time to swap out my bad motor and check this stuff. so i have no part numbers or invoices or anything. and theres no part number stamped on the prochamber...
