    In my 98 v6 I get about 23-24 mpg city. I have a gt takeoff system on mine as well, and an ebay cai, but thats it. It is a 5-speed and therefore I can control the engine to my liking a little better, imo.

    They would both look good, but I think it depends on the style of the rest of car. Such as, do you have any of the stripes down the hood or along the door skirts? And if so what color? I typically prefer the chrome, but depending on the full color scheme of your car, the black may look good.

    your car is acting up? I've heard, but can't confirm, that without upgraded internals 9psi boost is the max the engine can handle. I hope that this is not your case in which you could have some serious problems. Good luck.

    could you take some pictures of the intake so we can try to see if we notice anything wrong. I personally installed my cai, and it took maybe 45 mins, but it works fine. I can get you the link to the website I used if you want to remove it and reinstall it.
