my intake finally cracked, got some questions?

This is exactly right. Both PI and nonPI manifolds were made at first with plastic, but when they started cracking, they redesigned the crossover in alluminum. PI is just a matter of power, not cracking.

    exhaust smoke help

this is what i was thinking. My car has 94000 miles and its still driven pretty hard. It burns a little oil (about a qt. every 3k miles) but not a hint of smoke. Thats completely normal. with time the rings wear down and bit and let some oil by. The blue smoke is def. oil, so maybe your rings...

    PST carbon fiber driveshaft arrived

Guy trust me I fly a turbo charged Cessna 172 with carbon fiber Wing struts (wing supports) and a carbon fiber prop......trust me they do not break into a thousand pieces over time. ferrari makes some of it's chasis with it. The airforce uses it in some of its stealth fighters. Technology has...

    pi ?

Non PI intakes have taller and wider runners. ther nonpis were more flat and square. Also a PI intake goes all the way down to the valley of the block, where as a non pi is shallow and leaves a gap. also, your car will pull alot harder than your friends with non pi.

    Bad hesitation.........please help!

Last night my car developed a bad hesitaiton on the highway. At low rpms under load it would buck like it was missing but no code. Today to took it for a drive and its not as bad, but in low rpms i can still feel it, and while it smooths out at higher rpm's it still runs rough and it is down on...

    Bullitt Swap Results

the composite intake isnt that cheap. They are pretty strong and lots of cars, icluding LS1s, use them. Its just that the bullit has a better design. If you run enough nitrous to blow your intake, then the rest of the engine wont be doing too good. the only occasions that ive heard of this...

Here to make you auto guys feel better

bro there is no real handicap in having an auto, if anything you have an advantage. They rob a little more power and the gear ration isnt as good, but that only makes a difference on paper because very few people know how to get the most potential out of a manual, so not many drivers will take...
