How Many Runs For A Built C-4

I ran the Dynamic Racing Roller Mite on the street for 25 years without noticing any issues, had it freshened last year, normal wear and tear inside, Harold made it like new again.

    Mustang II Member's rides

My Powermaster - Mastertorque starter allowed me to sneak in more initial timing, I'm at 24 Initial/36 total now, the engine really liked it. I did some other tuning work and installed a better air cleaner with open top, and I dropped the weight a bit, down to approx 2390 pounds. It added up to...

Finally got it on the road, first time in a long time. I buffed out the black, the paint isn't too bad, but the roof and hood are rough. The engine is running nice.

Suntune II tach installed in stock tach location, and icy blue LED for the gauges, shifter and heater controls. Color matches my light aqua interior. Just waiting for the upstate NY ice age to end so I can get back to work on the car.

The Mustang is almost done, mechanically. The body restoration will have to wait awhile more. The 530 horsepower 332 stroker engine has a unique sound through the 3 chamber Flowmasters and scavenger straight pipes under the axle. View: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/sPKomrJCsbY

Aluminum non-metric brake calipers for use on 11" granada rotors?

Thank you for that info! I guess the most important aspect of the brake upgrade is weight saving, the metric calipers are aluminum or iron? If they're lighter than the oem II pieces, that would get my interest. Losing weight from the car is almost as fun as adding power.

Aluminum non-metric brake calipers for use on 11" granada rotors?

You may have seen another similar video, where I got it up to 85mph during that same day of testing at my favorite remote location near the railroad tracks and the rock wall that reflects the exhaust nicely. lol Launch in 2nd gear and half throttle for traction. You can launch in 2nd, on regular...

Aluminum non-metric brake calipers for use on 11" granada rotors?

My brakes work very well at normal speeds, even though the rear axle still has the original style 1959 t-bird 11" drums. So far, no need for an adjustable prop valve, during very hard braking, but when I upgrade the fronts, it may become necessary. The balance and overall weight of my car is...

Height of wheel well opening over the tires, front and rear, and adding clearance for 17x9 wheels up front

The 255/40ZR17 tire is 10.06" wide, according to what I just read, thus they fit well on the 10" wide wheel. When I got the wheels, they had 275/40ZRs on the back, and those used to brush the edge of the quarter under certain conditions, so I went a little narrower, but when I do the quarter...

This was how the wheel cleared the leaf spring back when I installed it.

Height of wheel well opening over the tires, front and rear, and adding clearance for 17x9 wheels up front

I just measured my front wheel/tire, while it's difficult to get exact measurement with the tire mounted, bead to bead these wheels are over 9.75 inches in width, with exactly 6 inches of back space, and front and rear are the same. Hmmm I thought they were smaller. lol That's why I've been...

Height of wheel well opening over the tires, front and rear, and adding clearance for 17x9 wheels up front

Yeah, I found a complete kit with 2" drop spindles included, with those metric calipers. In my case, removing some of the spring height wouldn't give me the wheel clearance I need, since the upper control arm is in a fixed distance from the wheel unless the hub location is raised in relation to...

Height of wheel well opening over the tires, front and rear, and adding clearance for 17x9 wheels up front

My car currently measures 25.75" rear wheel well to the ground, and 27" front wheel well to the ground. It's up in the nose from my shedding weight from the car, and the stiff king cobra coils I installed years ago. While inspecting the car's undercarriage yesterday, I noticed the steering...

Aluminum non-metric brake calipers for use on 11" granada rotors?

With all the information floating around out there, it's difficult to simply find a decent piston sized caliper that is very lightweight, to use with an 11" Granada rotor. Brackets would be nice too, but I can fabricate them if necessary. I spotted a 1986 LTD caliper online, it appeared...

With the flowmasters on it, testing out the increased ignition timing. (20 deg. initial) It definitely likes it. Now that I have a starter and ring gear that don't self destruct, I can actually run some decent timing. https://youtube.com/shorts/qtsW7Cy9ybc?si=4qb2rA7OICEOxfhC
