Was at the dealer today thinking I should trade it for the Sonic blue Lightning I saw as you can use a Lightning as a car but you can't use a Cobra like a truck.     I have it on my '01, I removed the two front cats from my stock h-pipe, It drones a little on the highway inside, but not enough to bother me, sounds great and passed emissions.

    New 04 Lightning popping noise in the front end making tight turns?

    My '01 L did it too. It's either the stops need grease or you need the clunk washers fix. Since it's new I would think it's grease, the other one shows up after about 5k usually.

    Gears

    I had my '01 on a lift today doing full exhaust and was thinking 3.73s, now after reading this thread I guess not enough? And how much does the average shop get to do a irs gear swap? It looked like a big job compared to solid axle swaps.
