    Not with hyd lifters. If the lifters are new, it might because they are not pumped up yet. But if they are old lifters, you got some work to do.

    I just went from 2 Chamber Dronemasters to the Super Turbo's. Cut loudness by about 25% and the same with the drone. I love the sound and it's a much better quality sound than the Dronemaster mufflers.

    Help me fix my heater....

    I fixed mine yesterday by back flushing the heater core. I first noticed that my heater hose going in to the fire wall was hot but the return hose was cool. Bingo, we have a problem. I disconnected both and flushed water back and forth in both directions, hooked it back up and now I have heat.

    I sanded them with 600 grit, cleaned them with 409 and than painted with wheel paint from O'Reillys. Looked brand new and took only 5 hours. Click on "My Current 91" for pics.

    Keep the Cobra. I have a Cobra on my 165s none ported and it pulls very hard to 6K.

    I made a huge mistake of getting a Bassani O/R X pipe on my 97 Cobra. It was way to loud for me so I went and put some high flow cats on. Much quieter and no performance loss that I noticed.

    I didn't read all the replies so this might have been mentioned... PRIME THE OIL PUMP!!! Go rent a primer from Auto Zone and prime it. Good luck.
