hey guys i was just wondering what is the procesure to changing the computer in my 93 lx, it's sending fcked up info to my injectors and flooding them with gas so i bought a new computer. any help would be appreciated thanks

i finally did the tranny, never better! did take like 5 hours though and only cost me 250 at a local JY

then i need it because i have taken the temp to the red, and the only thing that will turn the fan on is the AC, IE... when i drove to NY last winter it must have been negative something (at least that's what a building read) and with the AC on the fan would still run.

ouch! well u should consider yourself luckyy cuz if you did hit a truck w/ a mustang, you probably would have gone under. happened to my friend w/his P.O.S eclipse and the dudes tailpipes went through the windshield, not even to mention what happened to his front end :bang:

well i live in miami florida and trust me it gets hot here, and the car does tend to overheat if i don't have the AC on because of all the stop and go driving i do while it's constant 85 to 90 degrees out, like i said if i turn off the AC the fan turns off. I'm thinking it's probably rigged...

ohh i know it's shot for sure, i lost 5th gear and reverse, so i always make sure i have a passanger to help me push :bang:

i have a 93 lx, it's a 5 speed (sluggish) and i hear a t5 will do the trick. I'm ok working on cars, but if anything i have a mechanic neigbor so it's cool

i had that problem once and i drove to the mechanic holding the key, turns out it was the key cylinder, changed it and never had a problem again hope it helps

Couple of questions - what is a good donor car to get a T5 ? - what are the price ranges? - how difficult is it to change it ? - are there any pages around explaining it ?

93 mustng LX Coupe whenever i put a bulb on the reverse lights they stay on even if i'm driving on any other gear, now i have to drive w/out the bulbs on help pls Thanks

Do it, sounds nice although very illegal

that's y Florida is great but then again we don't see winter and the AC sucks the hell out of gas :bang:

other than that the car is is in great conditions w/140,000 miles.

yea i live in florida , in miami but they stopped doing emissions more than a year ago, and the tail lights i lost 1 of the original ones on the highway and i got these for 30 bucks from a friend so they'll be there until i can afford some new ones, the dual axhaust doesn't affect the gas milage...
