    I find that 87 is just fine, but some of the cheaper places like Wawa(philly area) tend to produce too much spark knock. If I'm in a jam ... I get 93 octane from there. They have great food and coffee there, but their gas really sucks!

    All you're hearing is your clutch locking onto your flywheel ... then spinning. A typical noise for people who install an aftermarket shifter. The noise is always there in any manual trans, but removal of rubber boots & increased rigidity of the shifter just make it louder!

    i get 210-220 per tank. If i go over 220 on the trip odometer ... i'm worried! That's with 87 octane, and no highway driving whatsoever. I only drive 8 miles round trip to work, so a tank still lasts me 2+ weeks ... unless i travel a lot on the weekends! Satin Silver 03 GT 5sp coupe

    shifter ball thread size?

    12MM is much larger than 3/8. In decimal form 12MM is .4724, and 3/8 is .375. 16 threads per inch differs by about 1.5 threads per inch as well. 1.75 pitch is 14.51 threads per inch, so you're gonna have to buy another one buddy! :(
