Fuel system and other mods complete

Been making some progress with my car and figured I'd share a few pictures and discuss. What has been changed: * New UPR upper & lower control arms (fully adjustable) * Swap 3:73 gear for 4:10 gear * Move from 26" to 28" tire. Ran out of gear with 26" * Bullitt intake...

Fuel system and other mods complete

Yep the 28's are great. Take off the car seems to be more in the power band but we'll see how it goes. Everytime I seem to think I'm done, something else comes up. While at the dyno I will be upgrading the MAF and also upgrading to a much larger bypass valve.

Fuel system and other mods complete

After swapping to the 28" tires, I can feel an immediate change. #1 = much better traction and #2 = Car loves the 28's. My appointment is 14 and 15 Sept so we'll see how she does dyno'ing.

Fuel system and other mods complete

Will do! I now have my Hoosier Drag Radials on the car. Swapped over to 28" tire. I have a new appt to get on the dyno come mid Sept. Once that's all done, I'll get to the track but I suspect they will remember me from 2 years ago since they threw me out due to having no roll bar :D

    race bypass valve

Yes there is a HUGE benefit in using 2 bypass's. Why? Driveability. With one, you might suffer from too much surging and bucking. Hope that helps. If you run one HUGE bypass, however, you'll be fine. What is huge? Something like the vortech mondo, the ATI race bypass, etc...

LOL yep. I'm not sure it will be 20 and guessing maybe a little more? I'm running 2.7" RR pulley so ..... we'll see. :nice: Thanks for the kind words I appreciate it. -Tim

    race bypass valve

As someone has stated you might consider doing a bypass before the IC and after the IC. I recommend the Bosch 114 bypass valves.

Fuel system and other mods complete

Not sure either but hey, whatever ........ makes me no difference. :flag: I'd like to see 600+rw but we'll see how it goes. You'll never see really huge dyno #'s out of my car since it's an automatic and I run a nonlockup converter. I'll be the first to admit that my car is by NO...

UPDATE: Since updating to the new combination and pushing much more power with the Novi 2000, I max'd out the one Bosch 390/420LPH fuel pump, therefore, I had to upgrade < DOH! >. While I was upgrading stuff, I now have the car pullied for approx 20+ pounds of boost, upgraded to 8 rib, and...

Fuel system and other mods complete

As some know, my car was getting some major upgrades since we were running out of fuel (injectors, lines, maf, etc) so an upgrade was necessary. I wanted to go with a sump, however, it just couldn't get done in time and perhaps that will be revisited. However, here is what was done: - 8...
