Triple plating is the process of any quality chrome item. Triple plating is not 3 layers of chrome. it is a Copper dip, a Nickle dip, then a Chrome dip... all chrome is a plating process.

the back side of the rims are painted silver over the chrome... can be removed with paint remover and elbow grease..

I have the FIPK with the BBK Inlet. To get them to mount together, had to lose the shield on the FIPK. Dyno'd at Haney's in Ralegh, NC hood up, hood down, made no difference.... my experience, YMMV.....
