    arent there other vehicles like trucks and explorers that came with 8.8's is it possible to swith one of those rears into my 95 stang? or are all the brackets and mounting points different and its not worth the hassle

    are you guys saying that the sender does nothing at all until the car drops down to like 7 psi pressure? cuz im no mustang genious and i dont know the little stuff that isnt common knowledge

    it turns out that i have a different stile sending unit on there? I didnt know that that would make a difference but an expert looked before i said anything and told me that it looked different and that when there the wrong one the guage will peg

    i already did it and let me tell you its a huge mistake to try that swap if you dont have a complete junk 5.0 car of the same year to pick parts off of youll never work out all of the bugs that your gonna have my car runs super good but its every day a new problem comes up and im never done...

    Something shattered timing chain cover???

    id bet money that its the camshaft retaining bolt, mine came out too and put a hole in my timing cover big enough to fit my thumb in. after it came out then my distrib. chewed up my cam and i then had bent pushrods and valves. big mess. big big mess

    good guess, i crawled under the car and changed oil it turns out that both the wires for the oil sending unit are cut so that means its just a bogus guage reading right?

    oh yeah and one thing i forgot to mention with even with the valve job at high rpms the valves are probably gonna float due to the size of the cam, but it aint that bad
