    i like it. it came with a tune for whatever i told them. then i can just take it to a dyno and get a custom flash tune. so ya i would recommend it.

    New Guy, with a 97 Cobra head question:

    i did headers, valve cover gaskets and short runner intake all at once and i found the lil plastic tool thats used to put o-ring seals on injectors stuck down in the intake valve. id say pull the valve cover and make sure nothing loose or sticking.

    cleans the engine bay up. less mess. get a tiny bit more power. i actualy lost like 1mpg with the delete in my 97 cobra. and yes ull need a tune. i got a sct flash tuner with a mail tune for now

    to reach even 290rwhp u better have fresh plugs wires and IMRC plates cleaned and shiny. personaly id be more concerened about upgrading suspension and drivetrain b4 worring about hp ratings. gears, tranny, and suspension items first... my .02 tips, dyno tune with a custom chip, march U/D...

    the engine is staying EFI so an HIC setup is a good idea. im going to have a local shop dip and check the block then im going to build it myself with a 408 stroker kit thats already balanced. the stock tranny wont last so thatll be replaced also.

    Exhaust Ques..

    r u nuts, like edbo said, the 94-95 have 302 5.0's and the 96-98 have a completly different engine! which means the headers most likly are routed and end in different locations meaning theres different mid pipes. also the x-pipe gives the car a mor raspy sound then the h-pipe. ive had both.

    03 Cobra Pricing

    gr8 shape, low miles for under 25k, ur pretty much ready to go, i was looking for an 03/04 for a few weeks and those were the prices i found, and since i could afford the payment but not the insurance i want with a 97 cobra instead, 1/3 the price, lightly modded with 70k miles, im happy still.
