    A LS1 will make power up to 6,000rpm A DOHC 4.6 may be able to rev past 6,200rpm but it isn' making anymore power past 6,000. Both engines sweet spots end around 5,900rpm

    Difference between going with mufflers instead of catback on GT

    My Borlas weighed 1/3 of what my stock mufflers did. I know that Flows and Magnaflows weigh alot more than the Borlas.

    8.8 Traction lock = 20,000 miles :nonono: Maybe if you beat the living hell out of your car on a dialy basis. My 1991 GT had 91,000 miles on the original Traction Lok clutch packs and it worked fine.

    A car with with a limited slip differential is actually harder to drive than a open differential car. You have to be careful, because the rear will go where it wants to.

    Wasn't Traction control an option on deluxe GT's and standard on Premium? I have driven a 99+ GT without traction control. Traction-Lok Differential axle is however standard on GT's 99+ Are you sure someone didn't slavage the thing and put a V8 in a V6?

    Gearbox or rear axle whine?? Help!

    Is the diff. fluid ok and full. It doesn't take but a couple of seconds for a roller in a bearing to score the cage/race if it gets dirty or dry. Putting it in neutral won't hurt anything, let off the throttle and coast is the noise still present? That will take the trans. out of the formula...
