Calling all detailer: How to restore dry leather?

If the seats are the same as my 03 GT, the rears are vinyl. The front seat bolsters and seating (more or less everything your body touches except the headrest) bits are leather but the sides and back isn't. I would assume it's always been this way as my '67 had rear vinly and front leather...

Exactly, the Brits sang for about 3 seoncds and it was awesome... they drowned out the flippin horns, I wish they'd done it the whole match... maybe some one woulda scored.

    Blew a plug

KT, I'll give it another day here and then I might make an account there. I searched (via google) both site for as much info as I could. I'd just like to make sure I at least got the right parts. It's one downside of living here in the UK when it comes to short notice repairs. I love this place...

    New way to surf Stangnet

Unless you're Spanish, it's Football. Footy or Footie for short. I'm a bit upset with the US Slovenia match we should have won 3-2, but the Refs suck. I'm off back to the pub for the England game in an hour, hopefully they win as that should up our chances of staying in this thing.

    Launch Suspension

The UPR K Kit is a pretty good deal comes with springs and everything. Pretty sure you'd still be able to use your struts, then just throw the springs on fleabay. It's a pretty big wieght difference amd the front is a good place to go on a diet :)

    Launch Suspension

With the NT 555 (non R) I've had the best luck with street PSI (32 or whatever they are I forget) and no burnout (just a quick spin to kick the rocks off). I don't have any of the fancy suspension stuff, but I've got tokico blues front and rear, stock rear springs, and UPR K and Coils up...

    Mustang Ricer... HA!

Was it the factory pink? I think they offered it for one year on the SN95s in a special edition, but I don't recall. (I'm not talking about the Breast Cancer car, that ones an S197 that's black with pink stripes any way) I know they had a pink color code from 65-67, and I think there was a...

I'd like to hear from some centrifugally blown daily driver owners.

I've got 3.73s and blown. I drove from Colorado to Oklahoma and averaged around 30 mpg between one fill up. Typical city driving I get around 15-20 mpg and highway around here I get around 22-25. The 30ish mpg was me stuck behind a flipping RV for 300+ miles without a chance to pass oing...

    Blew a plug

Well the distributer for Time-Sert came by today, we had to guess at the sizes since they don't make the Ford 5553 whatever kit here. Any way I'm hoping I got the right inserts M14 .125 tapered? We'll do the one and hope it works out, if it does and it's simple we're going to do all 8. Is...

I'd like to hear from some centrifugally blown daily driver owners.

Honestly with only a 10 minute commute I'm not sure that getting blown is right for you. I've had mine blown for well over 10k miles now, I'm almost at 80k on the odometer. Everythings fine other than a few snags, but things like my sparkplug blowout happen on NA motors too. Any way the...

    Blew a plug

Well if crap stops breaking I was planning on upgrading to a 2011 GT or GT500, I hadn't decided what to do with this car though yet. If it keeps having issues I won't feel good about selling it to some one else. Ultimate goal is a 1/4 car a road course car and a DD, the idea was the next...

we're getting timeserts or whatever they are called. Apparantly they are manufactured here in the UK? I dunno. I'm just trying to decide now if I should do all 4 on that head or just the one.

    Blew a plug

Me too. I mean I'm kinda lucky because I'm the godparent of a child whos father is a mechanic here in the UK so maybe a heli-coil won't be unbearably expensive, but I'd rather not have to go that route.

    Blew a plug

Ok, so the blocks cool. I went down and it feels like it screws right in. Having a friend stop by later with some anti-seize and a gap tool for a temp fix and a new plug should be sourced by tomorrow. I still had to buy a new coil since the current boot is shredded. That'll take a few days...

    Blew a plug

I always do, but I know the last time I did my plugs I was running out and probably skimped on it, and I do work from pass to drivers side front to rear and this is the 2nd from the rear drivers side one.

    Blew a plug

Long story short I've had loads of exhaust leaks, this sounded like the headers leaking on the drivers side head. Today I accelerated and BOOM! Then it sounded like I'd shred a belt. No check engine lights car running fine... Pop hood and one of the coil pack tubes is blowing around...
