    Best wax around

Why would you seal and then polish? Polishes have corrective abilities which will remove the sealant you just applied. General application should go Wash --> Clay --> Compound --> Polish --> Glaze (optional) --> wax/sealant.

    Best wax around

Wax selection is far less important than surface prep. You can throw a high end wax on a poorly prepped surface and still have a :poo:ty looking car. Conversely, you can throw your basic OTC wax on a well prepped surface with good results. That said, Clearkote's Vanilla Moose Wax is a very good...

Troubleshooting help needed. 89 LX won't run, driver side headers cold.

Oh, I should also point out that today we could not get the car to start. It would crank, but that's it. We also experience what we believe was a backfire coming through the rubber intake tract.

Troubleshooting help needed. 89 LX won't run, driver side headers cold.

Ok, I'm posting this for my younger brother. He owns an 89 LX that he just recently replaced the head gaskets on. The car has been put back together but we're still running into some problems. Our first problem is that when we attempted to start the car, it was running extremely rough and...

    Recaro seats?

Excellent! I had really liked your products but was very disappointed that they were only for Foxes. Glad to see the SN95 crowd will get some love now! :D

    Electrical problem

I'd have to ask my brother (he was driving the car when this happened) to be sure, but I don't think it was a significant amount. Now on the other hand, the oil pressure and temp gauges would progressively read higher the more you turned on. If you turned on the high beams, blower and hit the...

    Electrical problem

Ok, here is the situation. Right before the broken water pump bolt fiasco, my car had developed a weird electrical problem. What would happen is that whenever you would turn on the blower, headlights or press on the brakes, the oil pressure and temperature gauges would start to read higher while...

Finally took the heads off - major surprise

I called clearwater cylinder heads and they told me that due to these being the stock heads and made of iron, they have to completely disassemble them to clean them (magnaflux or whatever its called), check to make sure they are not warped and then rebuild them. it sounded like standard...

Finally took the heads off - major surprise

After a few days of light work, I finally got down to the heads and removed them today. I removed them due to symptoms of a blown head gasket. Symptoms were: overheating coolant changing to a dark, dingy brown coolant bubbles in overflow tank large amounts of pressure in cooling system When I...

Exhaust (tip) options on a cat back

I'm pretty sure the 3.5 inch tips are an option while the 3 inch tips are standard.

Exhaust (tip) options on a cat back

Handz's catback came with the 3.5 inch tips for some reason. Suspect looks like he has the 3" tips. Nik's 95 Cobra has the 3 inch tips and those look great as well. I do believe you can purchase the tips from Bassani without getting the whole catback. If you don't want Flowmasters, you could...

Exhaust (tip) options on a cat back

Pretty sure that is SRT Handz car. He posts here and on SN95 Forums. Dude has a super clean car. If that is his car, I know for a fact that is a Bassani catback. http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/815208-handz-detailed-sn95-exterior-maintenance-taken-too-far.html...

high speed fan not coming on?

Is it possible to open up the CCRM and replace the relay? I've heard secondhand that people have done that.

high speed fan not coming on?

Thanks Hissin. We did some of the CCRM testing and have constant 12 volts at pins 3 and 4. What's real interesting is that when we pulled the CCRM out and jiggled it, you can hear something of decent size rattling around in there. Is it possible that relay worked itself loose and is also...
