    I use the motorcraft filter. I am not saying that mobil one isn't good (lots of cars use it) I just won't use it on my car because of the valve noise and the oil usage. Who knows, maybe my engine has a problem. *shrug*

    98 Steed, the same thing happened to me (2001 cobra) when I switched over to Mobile One. I switched back to the oil that ford recommends and the problem went away. I also noticed that with mobile one you hear a hell of a lot more valve train noise at startup, that can't be good.

    I personally wouldn't want a 2003/04 if I planned on putting a lot of miles on it. Ford isn't exactly known for reliability and adding a SC to one probably wouldn't help matters. A friend of mine had a SC'ed cougar and that thing was constantly in the shop with various SC related ailments. /shrug

    14K? For 6 more K I got a 2001 vert cobra with 34k miles (mint condition no mods). :shrug: I figure a guy who modded his car did so to get more hp. Why would he want more HP unless he was beating on it? I guess the same could be said for buying any secondhand performance vehicle though...

    Window leaking.

    It looks like frameless windows are adjustable. I think I will get some rubber adhesive to fix the tiny tear I have in mine and try to adjust the window. I will let you know if I have any luck.

    My windows are leaking right around the rubber window boot (right behind the mach 460 speaker pod). What is the fix for this? New rubber seal (if so where is a good source for these)? I tried putting some silicon on it and that just made it worse. Thanks

    Who doesn't like the look of the 2005s? I can appreciate they are technically superior to the 99-04s but I really like the styling of the 99-04s a lot better. Perhaps a "special edition" version of the 2005s will be "tougher" looking. Things I like: Stance. Glad they got rid of the 4x4...
