Lots of V6's and no GTs.

My dealership in Atlanta is still telling me it should be in during October. It is Team Ford in Alpharetta.

He may be confused. There is a delay on the V6 manual coupes and everything Legend Lime colored. I wouldn't expect to see either of those until Dec. The GT's, from the news I have seen, are still on track for October.

Who mailed you the info? Your dealer or Ford?

blueovalnews.com says that Job one on the 500 was July 12th. It is possible that it was delayed a month. It is also possible that JOb 1 was 7/12 but they didn't have a press release until last week.

They didn't officially release pricing on the 500 and Freestar until last week and their Job 1 was July 12th. I wouldn't be shocked if we didn't see pricing on the stang until the last week of Sept. :shrug:

Either that or order one and wait for it to be delivered. It should work the way it does now.

If you want something new and inovative take a look at the Scion Xb or the Honda Element. I prefer the 05 Mustang to the new inovative cars/boxes.

I have never seen any mention of a on board computer. Under the Interior Upgrade Package option is listed a message center. I would expect that it would have some type of functionality similar to that.

I just hope Ford's engineering department has their act together a little better than their marketing department. The blog at blog.ford.com that was supposed to be updated a couple of times a month hasn't been touched since 5/21.

Ordering I just talked to my local dealer. He confirmed this. He is making sure they have all the pricing and order codes and then he is going to call me back. :banana:

Ordering When were the dealers able to start ordering. I just talked to my dealer two days ago and he said they wouldn't be able to start for probably another week.

The 05 Mustang will not start being manufactured until early Sept. I believe that is the waiting list they are refering to. It will take a while for the cars to be dispersed.
