It's actually an upgraded Impreza, which I would call a grocery getter. I didn't say it couldn't perform, my point was that I would rather go slower in a Mustang than faster in an Impreza.

Those are two completely different cars. And stick 4.10s on the Mach and you wouldn't be killing it. It's a proven fact that our cars, stock, are great with 4.10s.

How does that make any sense? If two cars are equal in everything but gearing, the one with shorter gears will accelerate faster. It's not rocket science.

I believe the Prochamber is a variation on an x-pipe. You'll get lots of opinions on what the best mid-pipe is.

4.10s. I don't see a point in going from 3.27s to 3.55s.

Launching at 2000 rpms will cause a "bogging" feel. Search for opinions on launch rpms. You should shift around 5500 rpms in my opinion. Haven't gone to the track to justify that with numbers, just from feel. Also, make sure traction control is off. That green light is death for a nice launch.

Not if you don't want to. The stroker increases the stroke of the piston by changing the crankshaft and all the internals. Boring increases the diameter of the cylinder.

If you were to buy a stroker kit it would replace the internals in your stock block. Your stock heads would still work. A new short block will also work with your stock heads. Then there is a long block which is the short block and heads.

Gears should be cheaper. It'll be the cost of the gears and the install kit plus diff fluid. I have a mechanic friend who specialized in drivetrains for awhile who will install for $50. I figure the Predator will negate any need for a speed-cal. Are Eibachs best, because I see the Steeda...

I was thinking springs, but do you think I'd need new shocks/struts to go along? I bought the straight shot mostly for the looks factor. My plan is to have a KB on there in 5 years (When I have no more car payment. 03 Mustang + 01 Dakota = $$$$)

Okay, I am about to order some 4.10s, but I was wondering if there was any other mod that would be better. To clarify my situation, I have the mods in my sig plus a Prochamber I got for Christmas. If I get gears they will not be on until spring when I get my Predator. I don't mind waiting...
