The calipers are not the same. 94-98 calipers were twin 38mm bore. 99+ are twin 40.5mm bore. Any brake kit you will buy new will be of the latter variety.

An important point of interest is that most alignment guys are uncomforable with making the caster equal on both sides as they feel you will need to fight against the crown of the road in daily driving. Just insist on having it equal, you will not have this problem.
