    Company name

In the past I read about a company, I think in Florida, who would update stock Ford radio's with new internals with CD and now possibly ipod interfaces. Can anyone point me to a web site or phone number? Thanks Dave

    rear discs!........stock 8in?

I used the TSM's on my Cobra. Seville Calipers, but when I bought it nothing else was available. Calipers bolt up nicely to the brackets. I added one inch to the emergency brake bracket and the II cables fit perfectly. The bleeder screws don't end up verticle, so I've either gravity bled...

    Adjusting clutch pedal travel

I've played with the adjustment, which has felt much better, but also resulted in a short throw out bearing life. In fact I took a day off Monday for the purpose of swapping one out. I would love to learn how to get some movement out of the pedal too! Dave

    t-5 questions

Yes the 94-95 is just slightly too short for the II bell housing. D&D in Detriot told me the minimum the input shaft should be in the crank bushing is 1/2 inch. Based on my measurements I needed another 1/4 inch. I had the bell shaved on both sides by 1/8 inch maybe a little less. The...

    GONE IN SIXTY-II SECONDS!!!

Nice job, grill and bumper work looks nice. Is that an original shaker assembly? Have much problem centering it and dealing with the limited hood height? I also had issues with the air cleaner hitting the top of the Duraspark. Did you have any issues with the MSD, I suspect it may be...

    Rotten rubber and broken springs

Get the dimensions of the rubbers and call tech support at Energy Suspension. As long as you have the diameter, you can cut them to length then have them pressed in. You may need to alter the bolt diameter on the shackels but you can get more modern materials. Dave

    Ordered my brake kit!

The kit looks like the parts I put together back in 1992. TSM brackets with factorey spindles, 78 Camaro calipers. The banjo fitting for the brake hose aligned with the upper A-arm so that if I hit a bump while at lock, the A-arm would shear off the banjo bolt. I bought a set of Wilwood Gen...

    Lowering Blocks

I do, not much science there. I had the local high school machine shop cut some scrap aluminum to match the perches. Picked up some longer U bolts at the parts store. Dave

    Request for advice

How far into autocrossing are you going. Street prepared, race prepared, modified? I agree 75 to 78 would be better than the 74. I had a lot of success with mine being fully race prepared. After market parts are a lot more common now as well. Dave

    4 point Harnes

Buy a kit from Summit, Jegs, etc. they come with mounting hardware. When I had mine I used the factory mounts for the lap belt. I mounted the shoulder harness to the hatch floor above the axil, which is about half way up your back. From what the safety inspectors at the SCCA told me is...

    Overdrive default

I've had my O6 for about 4 months and do most of my driving in town. Is there any way to change the overdrive default from "on" to "off" at start up? Dave

    Overdrive - On or off?

On my 06 Pony the shift points with the overdrive on are lower than if I have the overdrive off. I thinks it's a nice option since driving around town I like to have it off and enjoy a little more acceleration from light to light. Even while driving at 55 between towns I think the car is...

    New Chin Spoiler

I have an old version of the racing style spoiler on the Mustangs Unlimited site. Didn't use the valance. Mounting points are the original spoiler points on the fenders and more importantly a good bracing system to keep the chin up. Took me about three rebuilds to figure out how to keep it...

    Sold the cobra clone

Sellers remorse? Did you at least recover enough to get the next project started? Now that it's gone, what did you feel you did right and wrong? With your next II what would you do differently? I did a lot of things wrong my with my first II back in 78. After my friend totaled it, it...

    All FORD NATS

I'm registered, have a room. But with the price of gas targeted at $4 a gallon, I'm seriously considering camping instead. Dave Brian, still going?

    transmission fustration

The T-5 would be the easiest to fit. The toploader second, requiring fitting the old style rod shifter. How about an automatic C-4? You could put the V-6 RAD trans in and just be REAL careful.
