my 98 does the reverse thing reguarlly. i just usually inch it a couple inches in first and then it goes right in. My car has always done this since i have had it (about 41K). Its just one of the charaters of the car and is not that uncoommon. Chris

yeah there is one better. driving one like mine with the top down also. i freaking fall in love with my 98gt vert again every time i drive mine with the top down with a o/r h pipe and flows. add a little honey in the front seat and what else could you want. Chris
