    It was announced today that the 2005 Mustangs will start showing up at the dealers on Friday. Over 3000 Mustangs have been built so far and the order queue is approximately 25,000 cars.

    Actually, 1974 was the first year that Ford converted completely to metric for the engines. 1975 was technically the first 5.0 but it wasn't shown on the exterior of the Mustang until 1978. So the 5.0 predates the fox-body by 4 years.
