    No turn signals or instrument lights

    Driving to work this morning. Turn signals do not light and no markers on instrument panel. Instrument lights also do not come on and brake lights do not come on. Fuses are ok and nice and shiny. Happened all of a sudden. Just bought the car. Any thoughts before I start in on it? Headlights...

    Tried it Tried it on my Edl. Didn't clear the carb linkage correctly so I had to carve out a bit more of the plastic. Didn;t get it onto a dyno.

    Alternator not charging

    Check your ground Had same problem with chassis ground wire. Would turn over 7 or 8 times before I'd have to recharge.

    DynaMat

    Dynamat installation Just remember to install it when it's warm. Harder to stick under 50 degrees. And yes, it sticks to POR15. Put it in my prior car and worked well but it does add a bit of thickness. I used a bit of that 3M spray on adhesive as well.

    '66: Speedometer not accurate...

    Same problem here I have the same problem here so I'll listen in. Just bught a restored 66 and it's way to easy to see the needle at 100+. 66 FB 16" wheels T5 3.55 gears Where would I get this speedo gear? Is it any easy install?

    I did something stupid -- snapped off the dipstick tube

    Cold rod I've had luck on problems like this with cold. Take a metal rod that fits fairly snug in the hold. Put it in the freezer for 10 minutes. Then put it down their and as the cold spreads, you should be able to pull it out easy.
