    crap forgot to try the soap will today but.... I do notice its quiet dead quiet at idol now. But when you give it some gas it gets nuts and increases with RPM. And..if you engage the clutch it stops. So to me that sound like you're assessment is correct....wrong belt size. Its an 81"...
