Back in the Fox's hey day to me there was nothing like a Saleen. My neighbor had a black '86 Saleen. Super clean. It wasn't much quicker than my '85GT but the stance on that car was absolutely perfect. Nowadays, out of those three I'd choose Shelby but in reality I'd gladly settle for a Boss...

As I recall it was shifting at around 4,800 or so. Honestly, I only had the car a few days before the swap. All I know is that by the time it finished sliiiding into the next gear I'd be well out of the powerband.

Looove iiiit! I have my eye on a new 5.0. I thought for sure I'd be getting a 2011/12 but the lighting on the 2013/14 (front and rear) looks SO clean.

'11 GT would be a pretty easy choice for me. I was hot for the Cobra because of the raw grunt but I was never big on the sn95 Stangs. Especially that rounded off wrap-around dash and seating position. Drove my buddy's '04GT and couldn't wait to get out of it. When I see Cobras now they don't do...

I know a couple 5.0 Talk guys have moved on but I can't recall their screen names. I've been considering selling my '90 to make room for an 2011 GT. I really have to have one of these new 5.0's. I already liked the 2010 but the performance you get in a bone stock '11+ GT is just too much to stand.

I still pop in every now and then. Still have my Fox bods but I'm not doing much modding/racing nowadays.
