does anyone know how to disconnect the a/c hose that connects the evaporator to the compressor? it is a rubber one with metal things on both ends. I tried using the a/c hose disconnect thingie, but it is a different kind of connection. i will get my digital cam out and post some pics if needed...

what stuff under the hood is easily mirror polishable? like alternator, etc.

if i just get a long enough piece of angle iron and bolt it to the rear strut towers, would this work as well as one of those $100 tube looking ones?
