Well, I traded in my starter and got a starter for a 1993 5.0, but I am still a little confused on the wiring part. First, I hook the 12 volt+ cable for the starter to the "Hot" side terminal of the original starter solenoid (this is the same terminal you hook the battery to). So basically...

Anyone know of a good way to figure out if the starter will work? I am going to try asking the parts guys at the local dealer and parts shops but that might not work. As for the wiring, the little 12 gauge wire goes back to the "Cold" side of the solenoid?

All you really need is a program that takes a string for input and adds it to a list and places it in the correct alphabetical position (or however you want it ordered). It is actually really easy to do if you know a little java.
