    yeah boy!!! 13.217 @ 103.31 *Auto*

Everyone raise your flags.. I wish moderators would delete of freeze wasted posts like this. Really starting to ruin the '05s for me if I have to listen to too much more of it.

'05 Mustangs generally selling for MSRP or less...

Great post. Don't let the salesmen try to f#$^ you by talking about 'market value'. You can easily get x-plan pricing if you qualify, I got $500 over x-plan, and I've read lots of posts of people paying $1600 below MSRP. Just call any other dealers in your area and play them against each...

    Getting robbed or not?

If you didn't sign any paperwork allowing the work, chances are it's his responsibility to put it back the way he found it. This is the way mechanics **** people. Don't let it happen to you.

Bring a lawyer into it. Hands down. Talk to the Zone or Region manager for Ford. Check for state lemon laws. Where I'm at, it'd only cost you $250 in attorneys fees to have an order to get your money back.

Car and Driver Review- 05 Stang vs. 05 GTO

GTO is kind of pricy... the review is definitely biased, it's not even a direct post but this guy re-gurgitating what he said he read. Pick up the actual magazine yourself. Better yet, go down to the lots for a test drive. For the .5 or less seconds it takes me to go from 0 to 60, but for...

    1998 V6 upgrade journal.. thoughts?

Yeah that's how I had added it up in my notebook. I paid $6000 for this car with 60k on it (too much but I lost the transmission on my Taurus, big surprise). The only reason I talk about spending so much instead of just buying a new '05 GT stang for $25g's is at least this way I own the car...

    94-98 rear seats or material..

Oh, I was hoping I could put the seats down and fit at least one oversized girl in back lol

    94-98 rear seats or material..

You can buy bucket racing seats almost anywhere, but does anyone know a place to order front and rear seats in a set. I'm out in the boonies and there isn't anyone to upgrade the material on my seating, don't want to delete the rear seating (I mean you need to be able to fit more than one babe...

    1998 V6 upgrade journal.. thoughts?

I have a totally stock 1998 V6 Mustang (automatic transmission), 65,000 miles, just got a dry compression test done and all turned out well. Here are some mods I'm thinking about, I know it's been covered time and time again but thought it'd be nice to hear anyone who's had experience working...

Clunking & creaking.. it wasn't the control arm bushings, now what?

U-joints are fine. Still have a clunk in the rear under hard acceleration. IF I really punch it, it seems delayed, but will sometimes pop twice. Sounds like a pop now instead of a clunk, coming from the underside of the car.

    Rear Axle Play??

    What did you find out?

Clunking & creaking.. it wasn't the control arm bushings, now what?

Replaced the shocks, also tightened up all the hardware, was insanely loose. Bought the wrong torque wrench in the first place. Tightened up all the hardware on the rear end to the specs listed in Chilton for this model. Drove the car up on a ramp, parking brake on, car in neutral...

Clunking & creaking.. it wasn't the control arm bushings, now what?

Possibly u-joints would be the next thing to explore after the shocks? What do y'all think?

Clunking & creaking.. it wasn't the control arm bushings, now what?

{'98 v6 3.8l rear-wheel drive 7.5" axle and no mods} Replaced all of the upper control arm bushings. What a bitch! No matter what anyone tells you about removing the bushings, just do yourself a favor and get a bushing removal puller kit, or jerry-rig something with at least a 3-ton two-jaw...

Help fixing up used '98, step 1 : diff bushing

Upper or Lower rear control arm bushing is the prob? Total automotive newbie seeks guidance. When I accelerate there's a loud knocking that sounds like it's coming from the trunk. I'm guessing I need to change out some bushings. Question is which would be most likely to cause the noise ...
