I had a Powerdyne BD10 rebiult to BD11 specs on my 92 notch for 70,000 miles at 9lbs without any issues. That said it is not the centri I would go with on an 05 unless they have made some major improvements such as going to gear drive and intercooling.
I was thinking the D1 for down the road since it would be easier to get up front if it can perform ok at lower boost until a rebiuld. The HO kits come with a 3 core, but an 800hp intercooler is an option...
The more I read the more I like the PC.
I picked mine up on 8/30 and had to drive up to Melbourne to get it. I wasn't planing on a black car but it looks sweet and I was not interested in an automatic. The auto's were a dime a dozen on the lots I checked.
I would not worry about it...the difference between your ratio and a 3.55 is marginal. Look at the bright side, you'll feel a bigger hit when you switch up to 4.10's:D
Pulled the trigger on an 06 today...Blk/blk cloth, 5speed with interior upgrade, front seat side air bags, and the slacker 500:rolleyes: .
I'm digging the car and will probably go with a suspension kit as my first mod since it's a little loose.
I've had both blown 5.0's and 4.6's and the cost and complexity increases quite a bit with the 32v 4.6...
Your choice should take this into account. I ran the piss out of my 92 coupe with 9lbs and it never gave me a problem. And when I say I ran it hard I mean it...redline every time it was...
