    96-98 for sure. You may even be able to find one that's still stock, for reasonable money. Blower: Yes, get it tuned properly. However, no matter how good the install/ tune, you will lose reliability, as with any power adder. NOS/ S-trim will shorten the life of your motor/ driveline...

    To 'vert or not to 'vert...

    anybody else considering a convertible for street duty, buy it!! I love my '96 svt 'vert. My last car was a 2002 WRX, before that an '88 GT. I like the convertible so much, I sold my bike ('02 GSXR1000). BUY IT

    Is there a catch with 4V motors?

    First, it's nice to know thet I can get a new motor/ trans from FORD for 6k for my 96 svt. Also, Have you considered buying a smashed svt and pulling the motor/ trans etc. ? This would eliminate computer/ accessory issues.

    How much did you pay for your 96-98 Cobras?

    12k for my '96 convertible svt w/ 51k miles in March, 2004... After lots of haggling. I'm in Colorado also (little demand because of the snow). I love her, but I'm sure the synchros are bad. Otherwise wonderful.
