The car is very streetable. You just got to get a tune to set the idle. The whole car shakes side to side in traffic. I get weird looks all the time. I wish I knew how to post a sound clip. :shrug:

The old patriot heads had short guides in them. They had too much clearance, and burned oil. I sent mine back to patriot, and they sent me a brand new set with longer guides in them. They have the problem fixed now. It was just something they had to figure out on their first sets of heads...

Sounds a little like my comp XE-278's but the XE-278's have a more agressive idle to them. They sound good though. I am surprised your car even idles. Mine wouldn't idle untill I got it tuned.

I got rid of my spped cal. Wouldn't even register rpm's. I have 3:73's and run 80mph @2900-3000. My buddy has a stock 98 cobra with 4:10's that runs 70 mph @ 3000rpm. A little to high for my liking. When I get my supercharger installed, Im taking the 3:73's out, and installing 3:55's.

Sounds a little high to me too. I think 248 is with the stage 2's and untuned. Now that would sound more realistic.

I did not notice a sound difference, but the quality is great. I had shortys on before, and with the equal lentgh, you get a little more, maybe 2 more RWHP that shortys.

yes, lash adjusters and arms will work. They are the Same part.

wanna know where my speed cal is? Sitting on my closet floor. I had the same problems with stalling, and speedo not working. I heard someone say it wont work on below 1999 cars, so I took it out, and replaced the speedo gear. Guess what, car doesn't stall anymore. I also had a check engine...

Yeah, I contribute the low numbers to the cams. When I dynod the car, I heard a ticking noise from the valvetrain. I measured the base circle on the cams, and it was way off. I sent the cams back to comp for a replacement set. Hopefully when I get them installed, numbers will be a little higher.

Take it from me...Buy a used novi or vortech supercharger set-up. I have spent a fortune N/A, and only ran 297 RWHP :notnice:

Hate to break it to you, but you will be lucky to see 290 RWHP with those mods. I got stage 2 heads and comp XE278's, and only put down 297 RWHP. If I had a cold air kit, and pulleys, maybe 5 more hp. Just dont believe what all the shops tell ya. I know I dont. I would reccomend XE 262...
