Issues with the 2010 interior. Some really DUH ones too.

I'd have to agree with user error. Those buttons are placed in a spot that your hands should not be unless you need to press them. The only car i've ever had problems with button location was a VW. When i shifted into 3rd gear my knuckle would hit the hazard button on the main console just below...

First Road Test 2010 GT500 (Motor Trend Article)

Yeah i don't understand including the Camaro SS with the GT500 and Challenger SRT-8 when it is not sold as a comparable car to either. I think the Challenger SRT-8 is hitting around $43K MSRP, while the GT500 will be around $48K and the Camaro SS is $31. What the article does show is that Dodge...

2010 Mustang EcoBoost V6 or V8 ? - will it come down to sound or power ?

I think it will come down to pricing. If the TTV6 hits the $30K+ plateau as the SHO Taurus is at $38K with its Ecoboost/AWD that may change things. If Ford was able to sell the 2010 Mustang with the TTV6 at $25-28 it may sell like hot cakes. I don't see how they will be able to make an...

    Active suspension on the 2010?

I would say unless you really can't live without the looks of the 2010 version over the looks of the 2009 then get the 2010. Otherwise save your self a bunch of cash and take the current deals Ford is offering on the 2009's and not worry about it.

The 2010 Ford Mustang Price is Right

    Other options not shown...just to name a few 2009 Nissan 370Z - $29,930 - 332hp 3.7L V6 RWD 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe - $25,000 - 306 hp 3.8L V6 RWD 2010 Subaru WRX - $25K - 265hp 2.5L 4 AWD (i know its a sedan/hatch) I'm not impressed with the pricing structure comparison. I don't get...

    Mustang vs Camaro.....hope it's not a repost

At the current rate that GM is going, i don't know if they will be around to even produce the newest Camaro. I was just sitting in the 2009 Mustang and the GT500 (not sure of the year). For what its worth i'm very impressed with the interior. Its not perfect, but it was way better then my old...

    From 4.6 to 5.0????

mmmm. a nice 5.4L from a F150 would be fun, but probably too much work. I remember seeing a build up in one of the Mustang Magazines. They didn't get awesome numbers, but they were still better then stock.

Built 347: What is this thing worth, should I buy it? What kind of power can I expect

How do you know the parts they say are in there are truly inside the engine? Just a thought. I'd rather buy all those parts myself and bring it to a reputable shop and have them build it.

    Cobra

I don't understand all the bitching about weight. Who cares. Cars are heavier today due to all the protection that we supposedly need. All of the terrible drivers out there need to know that all 20 different air bags will protect them when they cause a 30 car pile up. Aside from that are you a...

2008 bringing us the Boss & the Bullitt

I really hope that this isn't true. If they limit the production then its only going to jack the price up at the dealership. Why cant they give us a reasonable option over the base V8 GT's. Dodge did it with the Charger as you could get the Daytona Edition without the ridiculous price increase i...

    Trying to identify a rim

Go to tirerack and look at the various models for the Mustang. They do look AZA knockoff's, but its hard to say. Even the BBS and some other company have almost the same rim yet they have extremely minor differences.

    2005 gt or 2004 mach 1

05 no doubt. The engine isn't the only thing improved over the previous generation. Either one can be made fast so i wouldn't worry too much about that side of things. Pick which car you like the best.

Why is my brand new car KNOCKING?

Uh...no. Your car cannot tell what octane the fuel is. What it can tell is that it there is predetonation due to low octane exploding before the spark plug ignites the fuel. In other words higher octance just means it has more chemicals in it to resist the predetonation. You won't gain more...

    turbo turbo turbo

Forget it, Since i'm just saying that they systems are pretty good and can make power, but i don't have every little detail nailed down so everyone can be happy. Here are the clif notes. STS not so bad if done right. Like i said i've had people offer to drive me in their cars just to prove the...

    apparently I'm gay for buying a v6

So basically you bought what you could afford and he bought what he could afford, but tell's you that your gay because you got a V6 and he got the econo rollerskate? I'd rather cruise around looking cool in a V6 Mustang then everyone thinking im some pimple-encrusted teen every where i go. Plus...

Last word on whether Ford can tell if software has ever been changed?

Do note they don't void a warranty, they refuse service on the vehicle. All states are different in the amount of coverage and what a dealer can and cannot do. Think of it this way: You put a supercharger on you car and blow the engine, its obvious that the dealer isn't going to warranty your...
