Where can I buy the rear bumper isolator (foam part) at a reasonable price???

Hi! As posted on the 4.6L forum... I'm in the process or repairing my damaged Mustang GT 2001. The rear bumper isolator needs to be changed and Ford sells it for 227$ canadian. That's pretty expensive for a small piece made of foam. :( :nonono: Your help would be VERY appreciated! Thanks.

Best bang for the buck for an intake?

You're right, after looking at some pics it's the plastic tube holding the MAF box that is damaged.

Best bang for the buck for an intake?

I'll have to look at it more carefully, but the "box" itself is ok. It's only because the air filter moved by about 2 inches and caused its plastic support to crack.

Best bang for the buck for an intake?

There's already Flowmasters & gears, that was a nice gift when I first discovered it! Hehehehe... Thanks for the link! That's a bit expensive for a replacement part that'll give nearly zero horsepower. I'll go for this one only if it's necessary.

Best bang for the buck for an intake?

Hi! I'm in the process or rebuilding a minorly damaged Mustang GT 2001. The only damaged mechanical part is the intake assembly where the air filter is connected. As you're probably expecting, I won't buy an expensive OEM unit. I was wondering what was the cheapest replacement part...

Fox body springs vs Sportlines: 1/4 mile times?

Hi! I know that the subject has been covered alot of times, with alot of arguments about the better weight transfer of the fox body springs, but what are the exact results on the quarter mile? I understand that Sportlines offer less weight transfer than stock, so the quarter mile times...

Fox body springs installed...before and after pics

You guys seam to talk about a much improved front-to-back weight transfer with a close to stock lateral weight transfer. How can this be possible? Won't a 99+ GT with fox body springs litterally handles like a boat? It's relatively heavier than a fox body stang.

    Year vs tranny

Hi! I obtained a Carfax report of a recently purchased Mustang GT. Edit: Can it tell anything about the tranny version (3650 vs T-45)?

Going to buy a damaged '01 GT!

Insurances from the United States and the Canada don't have the same opinion on a damaged car. The Mustang would be my fourth US rebuilt car and all four had minor damages. I can't tell you why exactly, but they often have less than 2000$ in damage. Yes, it's the Mustang that was originally...

Going to buy a damaged '01 GT!

9300$ canadian, obviously not repaired I guess that the exhaust tips are ok because the other car was high enough to only damage the bumper? That's not a parts swap because you can see a part of the remaining bumper on the drivers side. That's what worries me the most about buying a car from...

Going to buy a damaged '01 GT!

Hehehehe, the rear isn't pushed at all. The rear bumper bar is slightly bent, it's easily repairable. Same thing for the 1/4 panels, they're repairable at the body shop. I didn't see the car in person, but on the pictures that's an easy job.
