1989 Mustang GT seat rail issues

Went to a few local yards today and none of them would get me a straight answer as to how much a set of rails would be untill I pulled them and was ready to walk out the door. I don't do business till I know what I'm paying so I'm getting what I need from Mustang Parts Specialty. Oho well.

1989 Mustang GT seat rail issues

Thanks. I thought I did a search for everything possible but I didn't think of 'seat replacement' at all. The ones I did pertained specificaly to the rails which I found were called different things by just as many people. None of which seemed to give a really clear answer. I'll try that in a...

1989 Mustang GT seat rail issues

After I sold my pony for the wife to get a more reliable and fuel efficient means of transportation (Ponticrap Sunfire) she saw fit to let me have her convertible GT in place of psyciatric help due to Pony Withdrawel Syndrome. A hell of alot of good it does given the impending winter and tire...

    Retraction: Mustangwarehouse.com

I've always had better success riding their ass till it was done right. Most people and business' these days don't really give a crap about one guy because there is always another behind them in line with an open checkbook.

Damn ice storm and vinyle top.

LOL, don't even get me started on that one. I've looked high and low for a hardtop for 87-93 and none are to be found. I've been designing two, a one piece and a two piece with removable rear window, to use in place of the standard vinyle top. It'll be fiberglass with insulation and headliner. I...

    Retraction: Mustangwarehouse.com

Either way I know of a company that isn't getting any money out of my pocket. Give a person crappy service then make a threat to him when he complains ain't gonna cut it with me.

Damn ice storm and vinyle top.

Our convertible was a victim of our ice storm through Ohio. It's a vinyle type top. I have about 3/4-1 inch of ice on the top. Do yall know of any way to safely remove the ice without damaging the top? I'm scared as hell to drive it for fear of hitting a bump and cracking the ice causing it to...

Would you like an Foose 'Overhauled' Mustang?

Hell, yea in a second. Right now I'm needing a motor and tranny at the very least. I just want to keep my "porno red" color. ;)

O.K. here are some new 05 vert pics.

I've only owned one convertible Mustang, the one I have now, and was able to see the change in the way the top folded down. I can see how an honest mistake was made though if you didn't really look at the picture closely.

O.K. here are some new 05 vert pics.

There is no boot on the convertible in the picture. That's the front of the convertible roof that you're seeing in the pictures. Looks like it folds differently from the Fox platform for sure. I'd be interested in a removable hardtop option for sure. The soft top is nice but it's a pita...

    Shaker 500/1000 problems

What chaps my ass is the local dealer here was supposed to align the front end of my car after I replaced a inner tie rod. Took the car in, gave emm the keys they said I could wait while they do it. I looked around 35 minutes later, my car hadn't moved a bloody inch, they come to me and say they...

This doesn't sound like a cheap or easy fix...

Thanks for the replies guys. :) I checked with some guys on FlateRateTech as well and they mentioned the same thing with the u joints. One even mentioned the noise may be from the cats falling apart. So it may be a combination of things. I always figured that when the u joints went bad it...

This doesn't sound like a cheap or easy fix...

I just got the steering problem squared away last week. If someof you remember my topic about it. It turned out to be the same inner tie rod I replaced almost 9 months ago. Anyhow, I fixed it and all was happy. Then this week the damn goat decided to start puking something else up. I figgured I...
