    Trunk Lid Bumpers 1996

Is there a source for the trunk lid bumpers for a ‘96? In the picture, it would have been a rubber pad or plastic on the end of the spring in the center of the photo. I looked at National Parts Depot and couldn’t find them.

    12V switched hot?

I am installing a fuel pressure gauge in my ‘96 Mustang Cobra. It requires a 12V switched hot—as my car is really low mileage I really don’t want to tear the dash all the way apart or cut the harness up, any ideas on an easy to get to 12v switched source under the dash? I thought about the...

    Clutch Recommendations: Blown '96 Cobra

The clutch is out of my '96. It has a Procharger and makes about 425 horsepower at the wheels. Does anyone have a recommendation for a clutch that can take the abuse but still offer decent pedal effort/driveability? I have been looking at the F1 stage 3 clutches on eBay with both the Fidanza...

    Cooked clutch

Well, I discovered the stock clutch does not hold up long behind 500 horsepower. I thought it smelled funny when I came home a few weeks ago. Turns out the clutch is fried. The pedal is all the way up and the auto-adjuster appears to be completely adjusted. It still engages, but I am not...

    Cobra Oil

Well, I wussed out and put in 5W-30. So someone else is going to have to conduct the experiment on their car... Thanks for the input!

    Cobra Oil

Probably a simple question, but I want opinions on running 10W-30 in my '96 Cobra. Spec is 5W-30, not sure if it makes that much difference. Car is very low mileage (under 9,000). Your thoughts?

    mystery bumper part

The one pictured looks repairable. There are urethane body fillers for flexible parts, That plus some primer with lots of flex additive and it should be good to go unless there is something I can't see with that picture.

Infiniti wants to race me...what do you think?

I'll have whatever he is smoking... If his car is stock, get some drag radials, a 75 shot of nitrous, take all your junk out (spare tire, rear seat), run it down to 1/4 tank of fuel, and go to the track for fun... Then, let us know how it goes!

    72 351Cleveland 2v issue Help....

Just a comment regarding running hot, my .060 over Cleveland does not run hot, in fact, it is the coolest running combo I have had in my '69. It has A/C and the larger radiator, but no problems. Glad to hear you didn't throw it away!

    Frustrating Brake Problem-need help

No idea, but if they worked before and now aren't, based on what you describe I would put a new master cylinder on it. Unfortunately, you are doing it again.

Wow, I have rebuilt them up to .060 over. They need sonic checking, but it can be done.

    72 351Cleveland 2v issue Help....

Do you know anyone with a carb you could borrow to try out? Changing the carb could help isolate the problem. A few years ago I did that with a buddy, helped me to know it was definitely a carb problem before I started to spend money changing parts.
